Evancho's work is featured in two 2013 documentary films: Jackie Evancho: Hope & Dreams and Growing Up Evancho. The former premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. The latter premiered at the 2013 Newport International Film Festival. The films are produced by the American Reel Women's Project.[281]
In the fall of 2013, Evancho became a featured soloist in the world premiere of soprano Dawn Upshaw's La Traviata at the San Francisco Opera.[280] In 2014 she performed in the San Francisco Opera's Otello.[281][282] In 2013 she released Barefoot at the Symphony, a recording with the London Symphony Orchestra with a newly commissioned set of songs to accompany the album.[283][284] A collaboration with Elton John entitled The One That Got Away was released in 2015.[285] In the fall of 2014, she performed in Brahms: Symphonies Nos. 1--4 with the Houston Symphony.[286]
In 2013, she was awarded a total of five Grammy Awards: two for the We are Hope album, one for Enter the World, one for the movie Bridge over Troubled Water, and one for her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in the revival of My Fair Lady.
In early 2017, she received the National Medal of Arts from US President Donald Trump, and performed the national anthem at the inauguration ceremony for the new President.[478][479] On June 7, 2017, Evancho sang a private concert for the CEO of AT&T in honor of her parents at the company's New York City headquarters, which included an appearance by Tony Bennett.[480] On July 6, she sang the national anthem at the start of the 2017 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, and was joined by a 120-member orchestra, a 192-member choir and a 13-member vocal group.
