Windows Server 2003 is available in a single-platform and multi-platform versions. The single platform is known as Windows Server 2003 Standard, and the multi-platform as Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. The latter will be available in two flavors, 32-bit and 64-bit. The 32-bit version runs on x86 and x64 processors, while the 64-bit version runs on IA-32, IA-64, and Itanium architecture processors.

i have tried dbowner but that did not help. I have checked the the loginid and password are correct and that the userid has been granted permission to the database. The server is running windows NT 4.0 and the database is a SQL Server 6.0 instance.
